Servicing

The best time to get your service is before the winter period, when service technicians are more readily available

Servicing your heat pump and/or home ventilation system on a regular basis will ensure optimum family health, while maintaining reliability and efficiency.

Servicing keeps your heat pump or home ventilation system constantly operating at peak performance, preserving your investment and your warranty conditions. You will also ensure you avoid any inconvenience, costly running costs or repair bills.

In damp conditions dust mites thrive and mould spores multiply, triggering asthma and allergies. The filters or filter bag being dirty greatly reduces the air circulation, promoting airborne pollutants and toxins from household cleaners. Regular servicing counters this.

Your warranty

Many manufacturers state in their warranty conditions that it is the owner’s responsibility to clean and service their units. If this condition isn’t being met within the warranty period, then the owner runs the risk of their warranty not being valid.

Problem spotting in advance is crucial for future fault diagnosis. All too often, failing to carry out a recommended service check of your heat pump or home ventilation system, can result in the malfunction of costly parts, sometimes leading to an irrepairable problem. PREVENTION IS THE BEST CURE.

Manufacturers recommend a service check is carried out every 12 months (minimum) by a qualified service technician and records are to be kept and made available on request under warranty conditions.

A service check of your heat pump or ventilation system twice per year is highly recommended. An ideal time of the year to perform the first service check is between November to February. At this time we tend to use our systems less often, with the weather becoming drier and warmer, ensuring your system will keep your home healthy when winter arrives. We recommend a second check during the winter months, ensuring a healthy home all year round.
